Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any service with My Ireland Driver. By making a booking or submitting an enquiry through our website, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. About Us

My Ireland Driver is a private chauffeur and luxury tour operator based in the west of Ireland. We provide chauffeur-driven airport transfers, private tours, golf tours, fishing tours, heritage tours, corporate travel, and custom tour experiences across Ireland. 2. Bookings and Confirmations

All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you have received a written confirmation from My Ireland Driver via email.

Submitting a quote request through our website does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have agreed on the details, pricing, and you have received a written confirmation from us.

We reserve the right to decline any booking request at our discretion.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices quoted by My Ireland Driver are in Euro (€) unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on the specific details provided at the time of your enquiry, including the service type, number of passengers, pickup and drop off locations, and travel dates.

Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking has been formally confirmed in writing.

Payment terms will be agreed upon at the time of booking confirmation. We reserve the right to request a deposit to secure your booking.

Any additional costs incurred during your journey, such as entrance fees, parking charges, tolls, or any other expenses not included in your original quote, will be the responsibility of the passenger unless otherwise agreed in advance.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by the Client

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please notify us as soon as possible by email or phone.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before the travel date — Full refund of any deposit paid
  • Cancellation between 3 and 7 days before the travel date — 50% of the total booking cost is retained
  • Cancellation less than 48 hours before the travel date — Full booking cost is retained
  • No-show on the day of travel — Full booking cost is retained

Cancellation by My Ireland Driver

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a confirmed booking due to circumstances beyond our control, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund of any payment made. My Ireland Driver will not be liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of such a cancellation.

5. Airport Transfers

For airport pickup services, we monitor flight arrivals in real time and adjust your pickup time accordingly in the event of flight delays. We allow a standard waiting time of 60 minutes after the scheduled flight arrival time at no additional charge.

Waiting time beyond 60 minutes may be subject to additional charges.

For departure transfers, we recommend allowing sufficient time to reach the airport comfortably. My Ireland Driver is not responsible for missed flights due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to traffic delays, road closures, or adverse weather conditions.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for ensuring they are ready at the agreed pickup location at the confirmed pickup time. My Ireland Driver will not be held responsible for any missed transfers or tours due to a passenger not being ready at the agreed time.

All passengers must behave in a respectful and responsible manner throughout the duration of the journey. My Ireland Driver reserves the right to terminate a journey without refund if any passenger behaves in a manner that is deemed dangerous, abusive, or disruptive to the driver or other passengers.

Passengers are responsible for the safety and security of their own personal belongings and luggage at all times. My Ireland Driver accepts no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during any transfer or tour.

7. Vehicle Capacity and Luggage

Our standard vehicle, the Mercedes V-Class, accommodates a maximum of 6 passengers. Bookings exceeding this capacity cannot be accepted in a single vehicle.

Passengers are permitted to bring reasonable personal luggage. Excessive luggage that cannot be safely accommodated in the vehicle may result in adjustments to the booking. Please inform us of any unusually large items, such as golf bags, fishing equipment, or specialist gear, at the time of booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.

8. Smoking, Alcohol and Damage

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all My Ireland Driver vehicles at all times.

Consumption of alcohol is not permitted in our vehicles without prior written agreement.

Any damage caused to our vehicle by a passenger during a journey will be the full financial responsibility of that passenger. My Ireland Driver reserves the right to charge for the cost of cleaning or repairs resulting from damage caused by passengers.

9. Force Majeure

My Ireland Driver shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfil our obligations under these Terms and Conditions where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, road closures, flooding, civil unrest, government restrictions, or any other event constituting force majeure.

In such circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to notify you promptly and to arrange an alternative solution where possible.

10. Liability

My Ireland Driver carries full public liability insurance as required by Irish law. Our liability to passengers is limited to direct losses arising from our proven negligence and does not extend to indirect, consequential, or incidental losses of any kind.

My Ireland Driver is not responsible for any loss of enjoyment, loss of earnings, missed connections, or any other indirect losses arising from delays, cancellations, or changes to your journey.

11. Complaints

We take the quality of our service seriously and we genuinely want every client to have an exceptional experience with My Ireland Driver. If you have any complaint or concern about any aspect of your service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can address it promptly.

All complaints will be acknowledged within 2 business days and we will endeavour to resolve all complaints within 14 business days.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

13. Changes to These Terms

My Ireland Driver reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website or services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
